Having it all together, being consistent, trying to be inspiring… it all can become very overwhelming !!
I would never have thought that at the age of 25, I would be living at my parents home, working (my dream job infact) at the family business and having a pretty good life!! – Expresso machine everyday i mean come on – haha this is my roadtrip and at the moment I am enjoying this part of my journey as it is so special.
We all have ideas where we could have been already and what other route we could have taken… all the what if’s??….but how boring to dwell on those thoughts… It does take some time & emotional development to figure out some life lessons and to accept what you have (reality check) , reflect how far you have came and it’s still only the start! (you are never to old & it’s not to late).
This topic takes me to the social media world where we can catch ourselves comparing our life journey with the speed of others… *Reminder: you are on your own roadtrip and speed! … you might just have more pitstops then others or a totally different road… the ride/road is different for each one of us (love this perspective of the roadtrip).
I saw this quote tonight about how your life is your message to the world… make sure it is inspiring… it got me thinking ..
To just live your unique life – like everyone else, taking some risky moves (driving that gravel road with a pothole or 5, beacause smooth roads in South Africa are hard to find) and the attitude you have is what makes you ‘inspiring’… NOT BEING AFRAID TO TRY & Right Attitude.
Yes, life is scary – you are gonna die anyways one day, so might aswell take the road less travelled at times ( get out of that comfort zone, thats were the magic happens).
As I am typing this blog, lots of cliches (like my title) are making sense even if it’s corny and without a doubt new experiences make you learn valuable life lessons. #facts
It’s hard out there – but you got to find out what you want and then figure out how to get it!!!
Everything lies in the willingness to TRY.
Look you might not have everything together (to many ideas to little time – and that’s where planning, consistency comes in to simplify a roadmap for yourself) …. but you may have everything need to keep on route and get to the next destination.
Do not be so hard on yourself. Enjoy the JOURNEY, the destination is only a motivation (don’t be caught up in only reaching the destination you forget the journey, let it be a guide) sometimes you will get lost and then you get back on the map… that’s part of being so human.
We are all living in our own minds.so make it a kind and beautiful space.
In conclusion : Just be kind. You have know idea what someone else is going through and where they are on their life trip.
