taking it in..
So today the 27th, was the day I was left alone to explore the city on my own!! Wow what a day from this morning I woke up I felt excited, because I will be going way out of my comfort zone in an area I yet don’t know that well.
First off I had got a local “Opal “card witch allows me to take the busses and trains meaning the public transport! So the App I downloaded on my phone shows you everything, what to take and even the location.
So I walked to the bus stop for about 15 minutes of where I had to take the certain bus to Burwood, at Burwood station I took the train, but this time I had to change trains at a point, keep in mind its my first time so it was quite something new for me, but I survived it, Haha! when I finally got to Circular Quay I enjoyed the views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, for the day I decided to take my time in the Art Gallery of NSW because there where so many pieces of art it had to be done in time.
I walked throw the Botanic Gardens that is also waiting for me to explore in. I walked all the way to the gallery there I took my time going to everything, yet again it was jaw dropping with the icons of arts work hanging up on the walls! I later decided to have something to eat at the gallery’s lovely restaurant, I was blown away of how great it was I had the Best ever Tomato soup and some lemonade soda.. after my lunch I went threw more art of the gallery that was amazing.. I than decided after hours at the gallery of head back to Circular Quay to head slowly home as my battery got lower by the minutes and I needed my phone to get back home!!
I got some nice gelato and enjoyed it while looking at the people and the bridge. After I had finished I got up on the train and off we went! At nearly the end of the ride I was finally at the station to get off!… So off the train I went and that was when the hiccups began, nearly passed my first day alone and then I got some confused of where the bus that has to take me home has to be stopping, but the people here are so friendly you just ask them then your sorted in a second!
So there stopped a bus not far from where the App took me, so I asked the driver if the is going the way I needed to go, very friendly he help me by even giving me a ride to were a nearby bus stop was not far from my destination, out of his way! wow so I went there and finally got the bus I needed after the 4 busses that was not correct, hehe so I finally got home with the only thought in my head, I got through the day, and just getting the idea that it is really not that hard to come around! By going out of your comfort zone is where you learn and grow! people are friendly so just ask I your having trouble! Tomorrow is another day!
